I will probably make it grow better if you did that or pour sugar water on it.because it mixes carbon dioxide,sunlight,and h2o to make a sugar substance.It will most likely do a lot better and live longer.

Yes. Using sugar can cause a plant to reduce it's own production of the sugar produced during photosynthesis. This may cause the plant to struggle and keep it from producing it's own sugar.

While there are certain short term benefits, the long term side effects are generally more detrimental.
