by putting a towel over the top of the power reader and listening to the tempreture valve
If you KNOW that all the plug wires are on the cap and spark plugs RIGHT and that the engine is in time then remove the valve covers and start the engine back up and make SURE that ALL the valve springs are moveing up and down while the engine is idleing. Be sure to check them close. If they are not all moveing then you need to REPLACE the cam and lifters.
Replace the flasher relay if the lights come on but do not flash.
I'm assuming you are referring to a dual tank set-up. The valve is mounted under the body, forward of the rear axle, on the passenger side.
