Was lord Capulet right to insist that Juliet marry Paris?

Who arranges Juliet's marriage to Paris?

They arrange their own marriage. Romeo gets the priest on board and Juliet communicates with him through her nurse so they can meet at the priest's place at the end of act 2. As for what they say, the whole of Act 2 is devoted to the arrangements for the marriage.

Do you feel sympathy for Capulet the nurse or Paris when they express grief over Juliet death?

I can't help feeling a bit sorry for poor old Paris. He's the guy who is playing by the book (but not kissing by the book), asking Juliet's father for her hand in the proper, accepted way. You won't find him trespassing on Capulet's property and peeking into Juliet's window so as to see her in her night attire. You don't see him trying to sneak her away to marry her in a clandestine wedding. And even if he does not seem to be much of a passionate guy, he is Mr. Nice Guy all the time. Also Mr. Loser. And just when it seems everything is working out for him, he shows up for his wedding to find out, WHAM! the bride's dead. If that isn't a kick in the gut I don't know what is. As for Capulet, losing your child is a terrible thing for anyone. The same goes for the nurse who is almost a mother to Juliet. It's even worse when you are expecting a wedding, a happy event. Still, for reasons he didn't know, and would not like at all if he did know them it was Capulet's actions which caused Juliet's apparent death (and it is only apparent because this was the only way Friar Lawrence could think of to prevent her from being really dead.). It was also the actions of the nurse, who should have understood perfectly well Juliet's reasons for not wanting to marry Paris. I can't really feel a lot of sympathy for her. Some, but not a lot
