How does the rest of the world view America?

As a paranoid, violent race that have turned into slaves of liberty instead of enjoying the happiness liberty brings. They spend way too much time worrying about losing their liberty and freedoms and are paranoid at any form of government, (even though their constitution says their government is for the people, by the people, of the people,... in other words, the people are the government), when instead they should just mind their own business and relax, sit down and actually enjoy what freedoms they have.

They are in debt up to their eyeballs, they are the only free country on the planet that doesn't have universal health care for all of it's citizens, where someone can lose their house if they get sick and don't have health insurance. They are the only modern, free, democratic, non-communist, non-Dictatorship, non-military rule state, that still has the death penalty. They have a system of government that forces it's leaders to spend more time fighting for re-election than actually doing some work to move the country forward. They have a type of government that promotes gridlock so nothing gets done, (note how the last 2 years the Republicans have said "No" to virtually everything the President has suggested, even when he has suggested Republican ideas). Their citizens have virtually no Privacy Laws to protect their personal information. They are against any kind of socialism, unless of course it's George Bush's TARP plan, (known as the government bail out of big business). Compared to other nations with very similar standards of living, (Australia, Canada, UK), the US pay their police officers and school teachers much less in comparison and they are not considered and treated as professionals. But then they wonder why there is so much crime and why little Johnny is getting such embarrassing math and science scores on the the world wide testing stage. Their TV is nothing but talk show gossip and song and dance shows, with very little that provides any educational value. And lastly, they are very gullible when it comes to what is reported on the news stations, especially one called Fox News, (which should really be called Faux News), as their reporting is so slanted and misleading, and has been caught several times bending the truth in a news story to get their own agenda pushed out to the masses... the problem is that the masses actually believe it and think Fox News is a fair, balanced, accurate and credible source of news, while the rest of the world watches it and just laughs. As for sport, it's national game of "football", where the foot rarely touches the ball, is one of the most boring games on the planet, where men get all padded up with protective gear, rush into each other for a few seconds, then stop and spend the next 2 or 3 minutes figuring out how they're going to spend the next few seconds rushing into each other. It would be interesting to see how real these football men are if they had to play rugby... similar game, but without all the fancy protective clothing and if you get tackled to the ground, it doesn't mean the play stops.

America is not viewed with the same respect it used to be. More and more it is viewed as an aging empire that's on the downward side of the Rise and Fall that every major empire in recorded history has gone through. The average American is nice and is still searching for that "American Dream", (which is turning into a nightmare for more and more everyday), but they won't give up or change much, they want better roads, better infrastructure, better government services, but they don't want to pay any taxes to pay for it, so the debt keeps getting bigger and bigger and will continue to do so until China finally call buys them out when they call in their loans.

So how does the rest of the world view America? More like a tragedy than a success story. Used to be America the great, now it's America the dysfunctional basket case.
