Since the frame and wheel base was widened in the YJ models they are a lot better and do not really deserve that old reputation.
Remember, the higher it is, the easier it is to tip, keep the weight low and you are no worse off than in any other SUV, but when you lift your Wrangler consider wheel spacers too.
