Well, it would spin fine, just like any other electric motor would. But it certainly wouldn't
blow air in your face, because there isn't any, and your face is concealed behind the
visor of your space suit anyway.
Inside a manned vehicle in space, such as the ISS, where a 'shirtsleeve environment'
is being maintained, the fan should circulate air very nicely. In fact, I would think that
fans would be essential in the weightless environment, because air is not going to circulate
on its own as usual due to convection or any other familiar density-driven effect.
FAn works by current
A fan would not keep you cool in space because since there's no air in outer space, there is no wind. If there's no wind, then the fan would be blowing nothing towards you.
your a/c fan is not kickin on! get 12 volts to the fan to see if it works! if fan works check fan relay
Your fan motor is going out.
by electrical source computer fan works
NoA fan works by forcing air into motion...Space is largely void....I don't think one would be able to experience anything========================Another opinion:Yes.When connected up to the battery or other source of electrical power, and the switch turned to the ON position, the fan would spin just fine, and would even oscillate from side to side if designed to do so.But there would be not much point to it since, without air, the fan could notblow air across anything, and even if it could, you could not feel it from insideyour space suit.
The radiator fan is intermittent. It works if I mess with the radiator fan connector
Several things may be the cause ...... fan no longer works, cooling fan relay no longer works, coolant temp sensor is bad, or maybe even the cars ECU is'nt telling the fan to come on. Ron J.
A smoke extract fan works by extracting smoke from a building or enclosed space and expelling it outside. It typically consists of a fan unit connected to ductwork that captures the smoke and directs it to the outside environment, aiding in smoke removal and improving safety in case of a fire. The fan helps create a negative pressure that draws smoke towards it, preventing it from spreading throughout the building.
Why are you replacing the switch? If the fan works only on high speed, replace the fan resistor. There was a TSB for this.
flue gas out
Probably the Heater Fan Thermostat. It may have a different name.
