speed
speed
Stantaneous speed is how fast an object moves at any given time.
rate
Speed is the rate at which an object moves. To determine the rate at which that object moves, we'll have to look at a given distance that it covered when it moved, and at the time it took to cover that distance. The distance per unit of time is the speed of the object.
(change in distance) divided by (time interval) = the object's average speed during that time interval.
Speed occurs when a body moves with respect to some frame of reference.
Capacity and amount are similar, yes but capacity is how much something can hold and amount means the substance.
speed
This will be true if the object moves with the same speed (a uniform speed) throughout all the time it is moving. If the object is a bus or train making stops along the way, total distance divided by the total time from a given point to another point is the average speed of the object for that interval.
That is equivalent to saying that:* The object moves, or * The object's position changes over time
speed
How fast an object is travelling in a given direction.
