Umm. . . they lived in different times but the Aztecs lived in Mexico and the Mayans had the whole northern South America thing going on.
No the Spanish actually defeated Aztecs and the Mayans but althogh they always faught but mayans did not deafeat the Aztecs /// <-- That´s not true: The Mayas were an ancient culture that lasted from year 2000 to 1546 and the Aztecs (Better known as "Mexicas") lived from 1325 to 1521 (our age). They were two separated cutures located in two completely different places, not even near from each other and as far as it is known they never fought (they did´NT have a reason to do so).
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away...
The only significant disadvantage the Spanish conquistadors faced was the fact that they didn't know the land/geography as well as the Aztecs did. The Aztecs faced far more graver disadvantages like disease, lack of advanced weaponry, etc.
The worship of Dionysus was centered in these two ideas so far apart- of freedom and ecstatic joy and of savage brutality.
the Aztecs became as rich as they were because of trade done with othercities both near and far away because of a rich trade routes travelled by the pochteca or merchants and also because of tribute gathered from conquered cities. the pochteca could become very rich due to the trade and sometime even richer than the nobles themselves. this could cause danger for them and their families so they didnt dare to flaunt it much.

Chocolate can be found to date back as far as 1750 BC. Mayans grew the cocoa trees right in their backyard.

There is little trace of pre-conquest cultures in Costa Rica. The civilizations of the Mexico region, including the Aztecs, the Mayans and the Olmecs, did not expand as far south as Costa Rica.
Well the Mayans weren't an empire, one uses the name of Maya to refer to all of the mesoamerican city-states that were in center America and had common cultural aspects. The Aztecs appeared in history at about 1100 A.D and some Mayan cities are from as far as 200 A.D so obviously the Mayans came first.
As far as my knowledge goes, Incas did not have pyramid temples. They had a sun temple, public buildings, centeal plazas and water systems but no pyramid temples. ONly the Aztecs and Mayans had pyramid temples.
It depends, but the earliest record excavated from Mayan records were in 1100 A.D. that we have excavated so far and the first Greek records were In the B.C era's we've only scratched the surface with the Mayan excavation so that's why my conclusion is it depends
The enchiladas were invented in Mexico. They can be dated back to the time of the Mayans in the lake region of the Valley of Mexico.
The Aztecs didn't make predictions about 2012 (as far as I'm aware), the whole frenzy about 2012 is due to the Mayans, who predicted the end of the world during 2012. The Mayan calendar did not predict the end of the world, it was the end of the Mayan 'Great Cycle'. Had the Mayans still been around they would just have started another one. I agree
Seperated parents can live as far apart from each other as needed. It all depends on the parents. Some parents will live in the same town, in order to stay in contact with their kids, but some will move to a different town, province (state), or even country for that matter.
