Which answer do you want? Muzzle velocity on a Brown Bress (120 grain load) is about 1100 fps so if it is fired level, that gives you a range of less than 100 yards. Of course you could apply windage to get the bullet farther but that's really not the point is it. More pressing, however, is the fact that you are shooting a round ball with no rifling on the barrel. This ball behaves like a knuckleball and it's trajectory is anything but predictable after about 30 yards. This is why volleys of muskets wer fired and eventually, bayonets used.

How Far could American Revoulotion Weapons Shoot?

Depends on which weapon. The Brown Bess musket was a smoothbore, and not very accurate. To hit a man at more than 50 yards required luck, or a lot of muskets firing at the same time. However, the Pennsylvania style long rifle, while slow to load, could hit a man at 200 yards- or more.

How far can a civil war musket shoot?

The 69 smoothbore had a maximum effective range of about 100 yards (more or less). The rifled 58 Springfield musket had an effective range of 300 yards against men or 600 yards against larger targets like a man on a horse.

What kind of weapons did they have during the Revolutionary War?

Soldiers during that time mainly used muskets with bayonets attached to the end. Some soldiers could afford a single shot rifle. The sailors and Navy would most likely use flintlock pistols as did pirate Sir Francis Drake.Artillerymen would have the cannons (obviously) and short swords. The Calvary Men would have model 1763 Sabers and sometimes Flintlocks like the Navy.
