You should allow at least 10% free drive space, for proper functioning of the computer.
Probably the best answer is "give it to the IT department and let them deal with it." Any drive to be discarded which might contain sensitive financial (or other) information should be multiply-erased if possible, and destroyed if not.
Maybe you should let the hard drive rest for a little while or a day and see what happens.
go to your settings and check in hard drive profiles should be in there it will let you delete your profiles hope this helps ;)
It depends on which red light. If it is the hard drive light, then you shouldn't interrupt it unless the computer is hung.
work hard but not so hard that you become obsessed. the phrase was written by Benjamin Franklin

No Only If He\She Is Old Enough To Drive
If he is physically and mentally capable.
Immediately after a breakup... even if it's hard, you should try.
Don't let the computer turn it off when it is idle, the constant spin-up and spin-down really wears on the bearings, shortening the hard drive's life. The bearings in a hard drive were designed to be constantly spinning.
Anyone you give permission to drive your car,is covered under your insurance.
You should "immediately back up your data and replace your hard disk drive". If the hard drive is throwing "bad sectors", the OS will detect it and TRY to help you out as much as it can, but once the hard drive starts to fail you don't really have many options. I WOULD, however, verify that it's the hard drive and not the controller. If you can find it, see about plugging in the drive to another computer just to check it out. There are USB to IDE cable adapters that will let you plug in your hard drive to another computer. Mine has a connection option for SATA as well. They are relatively inexpensive and will end up costing much less than a trip to a tech.
