Who are the people that helped Barack Obama along his way to became President?

When Barack Obama was young, his mother and maternal grandparents were a big help to him. His grandparents were especially important because for much of his youth, they were the ones who raised him. Also important as a helper was his wife Michelle, and he has said that many times. Another person who helped is his mother-in-law Marian Robinson-- when Mr. Obama became president, she moved to the White House with the family to take care of the two Obama children when Barack and Michelle had to be away. This helped to ease Sasha and Malia's transition from living in Chicago as the daughters of a senator to living in Washington DC with the eyes of the nation on them. And these days, one other person who helps Mr. Obama is his vice- president, Joe Biden, along with the members of the president's cabinet.
