I have a Rose Art Shrink Art kit - how hot should the oven be to bake it and for how long?
---------------------------------------
here are the instructions---
1. Place a sheet of Shrinky Dinks over a dsign with the rough side up. Trace the design including the thin cut line around the edge. When tracing letters, draw your own cut line approx. 1/4 inch away from the letters.
2. Color and decorate your artwork with the colored pencils. Be sure to stay only on the rough side of the Shrinky Dinks.
3. Ask and adult to help with this step. Cut out your colored design from the Shrinky Dinks sheet following the traced cut line. Be sure the edges are smooth. Do not leave any sharp corners or they will become very pointy when you skrink the art. Use a hole punch if you want to make a keychain.
4. ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED FOR BAKING. Pre-heat your kitchen oven or toaster oven to 325F. DO NOT MICROWAVE. Place your creation onto a non-stick cookie sheet with the colored side up. Place in oven and WATCH the baking process. It takes 1-5 minutes depending on the thickness of the cookie sheet. Piece will curl and then flatten out. Bake another 30 seconds then remove from heat. Let cookie tray and art cool for 3 minutes.

Yes I have red it pretty much every where but don't paint before putting it in
No, you sculpt the clay first and then bake it once you are through with your work of art.

The acronym ART means Approaching Room Temperature.
It should be kept in very dry, normal room temperature conditions. Use an air-tight container. For extra precaution place a substance in the container that will help to keep the art dry, such as silica gel. The warmer the temperature, the softer the sugar will become. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________
