Well, it is a long cycle but it does end up coming back to us. first landfills keep burying the trash down in the ground. When it rains the rain water seeps down into the trash and takes some of its filth into rivers or streams, most of which we use for water supply. The second way is that sewage plants and factories have their very harmful chemicals dumped into the water or for sewage plants when it rains it overfills and goes into nearby water. Then the life in the water takes in those chemicals or sewage, and passes it onto its predator when it gets eaten so up the food chain it goes until someone catches a fish and eats it. Same goes with land animals, they drink that water and we all get sick!

Synthetic polymers have recycling numbers to indicate the type of plastic they are made of and help with sorting and recycling processes. The numbering system, known as resin identification codes, was introduced to standardize recycling efforts and determine the appropriate recycling method for each polymer. This allows for efficient sorting and recycling of different types of plastics, reducing waste and promoting circular economy practices.
