No one can answer that question.

Originally, God did NOT limit man's life. Mankind was created 'very good' (perfect) in God's sight(Genesis 1:31), and had the prospect of living FOREVER(Genesis 2:16&17). Even with the hope of everlasting life, God's command for the earth was to 'FILL it' (Genesis 1:28), not to overflow it. Once that was accomplished, we would have to see what God would devise.

What will be the impact of uncontrolled world population growth?

Higher Population means, more mouths too feed, more consumers, higher energy requirements. We can do all the alternative energy projects we want, but if there are still too many mouths to feed it will still overheat the planet's limited resources. Nonrenewableenergy resources for example coal and oil will most definitely run out but if there is a larger population that would mean that the world population would strain the resources and the increased demand would mean that they would run out inevitably quicker.
