It will probably take up to about 6 weeks for the hole to close permenatly but if you leave your earrings out for roughly a week although you will still be able 2 get a earing through it might take a little bit of a push.

i would say find an stud (earing) to match ur skin color
it can vary but for some people the piercing can close up after having it out for 20 mins so you cant say really :s sorry

I've only heard of reconstructive surgery for larger gauge ear piercings. Howver, you should look into getting your ears pierced at a larger gauge to remove the scar tissue. That way you could let them heal without the scar tissue stopping you.
ICING! I got my ears pierced at Claire's and I'm letting the holes close because they are too high, high enough to be doubles! Make sure you tell them exactly where you want them though!
If you get to "0" or "00" that's as far as you can go without needing surgical intervention to close the holes. The piercings will shrink but they won't close up like they have never been pierced before.

Well the piercings will not close up completely after that period of time. It can take a year or longer for piercings over a year old to shrink and close.
