"mary Molly Pitcher" was famous for bringing gallons of water to the soldiers so they called her "molly Pitcher" because pitcher is a pitcher of water or lemonade, then when her husband died she became extreemely angry with the other army and fired a cannon then a cannonball from the other army went through her dress and almost killed her. so she got a rank because she killed many of the opponents herself

It should not be harmful. Just let it sit overnight with a small quantity of bleach in it to kill the algae. Then wash the pitcher with dishsoap before refilling it with water and it will be good as ever.
