Get a good Marinade sauce and let the chicken soak overnight Get the coals hot then place the chicken right in the center of the grill over the coals Cook the chicken Quarters on tghe grill for at least 1 hour Check the meat with a meat thermometer to be sure that a internal temperature for the type of chicken is reached. Then take off thge grill and enjoy if you like BBQ sauce add the Sauce right before sering the Chicken Quarters i DO recommend cooking Chicken Quarters rather than other cuts You can find Chicken Quarters on sale all the time stick up and freeze them for baking or grilling!

An easy way to make chicken barbecue:

  • Boil chicken pieces until done and the juices run clear when pierced with a fork or knife.
  • Allow it to cool and remove meat from the bones.
  • Shred the cooked and cooled meat with your fingers, by pulling it apart in small pieces, placing the meat into a bowl as you shred.
  • Add just enough homemade or bottled barbecue sauce a fourth-cup at a time to coat the chicken, stirring after each addition. Be sure not to add too much; you only need need to coat the chicken well and don't want it swimming in barbecue sauce.
  • Pour into a saucepan and simmer on low, stirring constantly until hot.
  • Serve hot on buns.
