Another View: While the above answer is good advice, there are a few things to be considered. Were you charged with a felony opffense, and by whom? The state or fhe Feds?
If it was a federal felony offense, you will not ever be able to get your gun rights restored, there are no procedures for it.
If it was a state felony crime, you must look into Virginia's expungement law to determine whether or not the expungement will allow it.
