I just got my glasses from eyemasters. I got transitions knowing only that they help with the sun. The lady handed me my glasses then said "you can put them in the freezer for an hr to make the lenses more sensitive to the sun" she recommended it to me but I don't know if this is a good idea. As we speak I'm researching it just to be sure I don't ruin them. If anyone knows legit info please answer to this question.
Short and long sightedness are caused by the lens of the eye focusing the light either in front of or behind the retina. Glasses alter the path of light going into the lens to adjust for this.

Computer lens are glasses for preventing damage to the eyes due to working at a computer for long hours. Computer lens may also refer to the device that emits the laser beam in optical disk drives.
Very few transition glasses will never fully change back and will have a very tiny amount of tint still in them. However, an average tinted transition lense will usually fully change back within a few minutes of entering a darker or indoor area.
This happens when you wear a concave lens for curing short sight. If you wear convex lens in case of long sight, then eyes would look bigger than the original. Both are so dominant if the power is high. If we wear low power glasses then no such considerable change in the size of the eyes.
I think if you keep your hand long enough in a freezer it can get frost bite, but no. You can not get freezer burn from touching a freezer. That requires a long peorid of time.
a convex lens looks like an oval from the side. it can be used in the glasses of a long sighted person. i really should be doing my homework right now. i have been doing it since 11am and it is now 15.43pm.
The lens focuses the light on the retina. If your lenses are too short, the light is focused in front of the retina, making you nearsighted (myopic). If your lenses are too long, the focal point is past the retina, making you farsighted. Most people need reading glasses eventually, even if their eyesight has been perfect, because with age the lens loses flexibility, which means it cannot shorten to accomodate close vision, so glasses are needed to correct this.
