I'm around that age and from personal experience I would say about 2 or 3 weeks. When I started my regime of going to the gym 4 times a week and eating healthy, I didn't notice any change in the first week. By the second week, the scales started measuring a definite weight loss but I felt pretty much the same. By the third week I noticed that my clothes were a little looser and I could see a reduction around my waist. Stick with it, I wish had.
