If you are using the term "Israel" to refer to the geographic region of the former British Mandate of Palestine. Jews have lived in the former British Mandate of Palestine region from approximately 1000 B.C.E. in an uninterrupted (although at times much minimized) presence. The Arabs invaded the area under Caliph Omar's command in the 650s C.E. and settled with the indigenous people. They eventually intermarried and created one dominant Arab ethnicity that came to the fore in the 1200s called the Shamites (Greater Syrians of Levantinians). These Shamites all considered themselves Arabs.

∙ 11y agoThere are currently 1,617,000 Arab Israelis. These are individuals who are ethnically Arab but have Israeli citizenship. It is worth noting that being an Arab Israeli does not necessarily make a person an ethnic Palestinian, even though most Arab Israelis are ethnic Palestinians. Important Arab Israeli minorities include Druze Israelis, Bedouins, Circassians, and Armenians Apostolics.

Arabs have the right to vote in the elections if they so choose; Arabs have been elected and occupy
seats in the Knesset ... Israel's parliament.
Arab citizens of Israel form a majority of the population (52%) in Israel's Northern District,
and about 50% of the Arab population lives in 114 different localities throughout Israel.
In total there are 122 primarily if not entirely Arab localities in Israel, 89 of them having
populations over two thousand. The seven townships as well as the Abu Basma Regional
Council that have been constructed by the government for the Bedouin population of the
Negev, are the only Arab localities to have been established since 1948, with the aim of
relocating the Arab Bedouin citizens. 46% of the country's Arabs (622,400 people) live in
predominantly-Arab communities in the north. Nazareth is the largest Arab city, with a
population of 65,000, roughly 40,000 of whom are Muslim. Shefa-'Amr has a population of
approximately 32,000 and the city is mixed with sizable populations of Muslims, Christians,
and Druze.

HATE. yep, that's it, thousands of years of hatred. both sides are right and have just cause and yet both sides are wrong and completely out of bounds, and unfortunately, the hate is there and there really is no going back now... sorry i could give you a more uplifting answer...
