I would highly recommend combing out as many as you can, calling your vet and order one "Capstar" which starts killing off ALL fleas within 30 minutes, then also order one Frontline to put at the nape of the neck 24 hours later (no earlier). This will get rid of ALL fleas.
I would wash all blankies, bedding, etc. where the fleas might have gone. They will stay off your cat with the Frontline (and initial Capstar pill), but YOU may get bit! Dang fleas, anyhoo! :o)

No. Actually hermit crabs live on ground. It can't live in water it will drown. To clean them you submerge them in water for about a couple of seconds once every week.
descend, drown, sink, subside, overflow, plunge, dip
You fill the water bowl ( or any water pond thingy you have ) enough for the crabs completely submerge but not enough that they drown. They will bath them selves as they feel needed.

soapy water
Yes, it is not neutral; more frequently basic.
Soapy water is Alkaline so it is a base.
Cutworms can quickly eat their way through your favorite plants. To get rid of them, spray your plants with insecticide or pick the worms off and drop them in a bucket of soapy water to drown.
