The person that submitted the answer said 250 degrees would not cook the turkey .... Well it WILL .... For several years when I was a kid growing up my mom and dad would buy a turkey about 22 to 28 pounds at Christmas time and my Mom would put it in the oven overnight at about 225 to 250 degrees and take it out in the morning after about 8 to 10 hours .... The only trouble she had with it was that turkey was usually so tender it fell apart when she went to take it out of the roaster ....
