That would depend on the cat needing to be played with. Most cats enjoy a good romp in fun by chasing or "ripping into" something. I would say at least once a day for adult cats and several times a day for kittens. Certain breeds also need more attention.

You never know how long you will be blessed with the companionship with this pet - So take advantage of any time you can spend with them.
