That depends on the flow through the clog. The sulfuric acid-based cleaner will have little effect on the clog if an equivalent quantity of sodium hydroxide-based drain cleaner remains because the two will neutralize with little heat, to form salt water. If you graduated from a US high school, you should be able to balance the equation with regards to mass of the reactants:
2NaOH + H2SO4 -> H2O + Na2SO4
Oh, sorry, you slept through chemistry and don't know what I'm talking about? They told me that every child could learn chemistry when I was a high school teacher.
Drain cleaner might. Why not just order some? It's not exactly an exotic chemical.
using concentrated sulfuric acid.
Sulfuric acid does not melt metal, it oxidizes it and dissolves it. Aluminum will react with sulfuric acid, but because of the protective coating of aluminum oxide the reaction is extremely slow.
If you mean using it as a container, no. Sulfuric acid reacts with aluminum and so would eat through any container made of it.
Dihydrogen sulfate; it's known as sulfuric acid.
Drain cleaner is extremely corrosive - that's why there are labels on all the bottles warning you to not let the chemicals inside come in contact with your skin or eyes. Chemical drain cleaners are solvents, meaning they are designed to dissolve anything they come in contact with, whether you want them to or not. If you're planning on using a chemical drain cleaner to knock a clog out of the drain, try to avoid drain cleaners that you use lye or acid - these are the most corrosive chemicals around and can cause serious harm if not used carefully!
you should drain it using your mouth
It should be on "FILTER"
Drain cleaner might. Why not just order some? It's not exactly an exotic chemical.
Sulfuric acid comprises of sulfates. Its formula is H2SO4.
If you vacuum cleaner is using a three blade plug (cap) on the cord you should not be getting static discharges from it. Make sure that the receptacle you connect to is grounded and that the ground is connected to the body of the cleaner.
Go to your local department store. I'm not sure if your talking about a chemical cleaner or something you put down the sink. So for a chemical drain unclogger you should try using Drayno, and for something you put down the drain I know they sell thin plastic strips with hooks on them which will pull the hair up.
it should be radiologically cleaner than fission
Either plunge it or run a plumbers snake through to rid the blockage.
Kitchen sink drains are a fertile environment for certain forms of life, and these can cause the drain to run slow. When hot water is run down the drain, it kills some of the lifeforms, allowing the drain to run freely for a while. Try using a drain cleaner, or a drain snake, to clean out the drain. Never pour grease down a drain, as it cools and solidifies quickly in the pipes.
freezing makes a firm texture. thaw and drain well before using
using concentrated sulfuric acid.
