Such info should be printed on a label that is part of the packaging the turkey was sold in. If not, then (and be very careful not to take any shortcuts - food poisoning) : Refrigerator Thawing - Allow at least 1 day of thawing for every 4 lbs. Cold Water Thawing - change cold water every 30 minutes. Estimate a minimum thawing time of 30 minutes per lb. If in any doubt, or really short of time, leave the frozen turkey in the freezer, and buy a fresh (unfrozen) bird.
