Do not feed them as much as they will eat, this puts them at risk for over eating which can cause the formula to go into their lungs and they can die. There are directions on the back of kitten formula cans: Feed 1 oz per 4 oz of body weight.

You would need to purchase some formula made especially for puppies (such as Esbilac or First Born, etc.), can find it in Feed stores, Pet stores, etc. Get a baby bottle and warm it to room temperature. Put a small drop of formula on your wrist & if you cannot feel anything, then it is at room temperature. Make sure the puppy's body is warm too, otherwise if too cold, will be unable to digest the food & will become very ill. Let the pup nurse the bottle for as long as he or she wants to. When the pup is full, will either fall asleep or just stop nursing. That is how much you feed per feeding. Do not use cow's milk ever as it will cause diarrhea. At 3 weeks of age, you can add some soaked puppy dry food, make sure it is soaked enough to be mushy. You can also add some human baby rice cereal too to the food, make a gruel out of it. I wean my pups by the time they are 4 weeks old so they are completely on the soaked puppy dry food by then. Make sure you purchase a good name brand of puppy food, do not get some cheap generic type of food. You could also add the formula to the puppy food too to make a gruel of it all. The pup is old enough at 3 weeks to be eating mushy food, such as soaked dry puppy food.

How much are 1 month old kittens?

1 month old kittens should never be on sale; they are far too young. Kittens four weeks old are only just beginning to take interest in solid food, and are usually fully weaned around six to eight weeks. During and after eight weeks, kittens start to learn how to socialise and play with other cats and humans. Kittens should be only be on sale from when they are ten weeks old; eight weeks at the very earliest. Any earlier than that will cause the kitten to have behaviour problems when it is older and very difficult to manage and to curb such behaviour.

How much do you feed a Kitten When it's old enough?

As for how much you should feed the kitten four to six times a day for young kittens, or three to four for older kittens, with small-sized meals usually two to three teaspoons of wet food (make sure you chop up the meat into little pieces). Kittens need a lot of food for them to develop and grow in a healthy manner, so give the kitten as much food as the kitten needs/eats.

How much food should you give a kitten?

I've raised a lot of kittens, probably about 30 litters, and i always fed the mother cat canned food so when the kittens got old enough to be weaned I would hold them and rub a little of the gravyish stuff around their mouths so they would lick it off. Some of them took to it right off and a few others were a little slower so just be patient and after a while (maybe about 2-3 weeks after they begin eatting canned food) put out a little plate of dry food and cut back on the canned food. It might take them a while but if they get hungry enough they will eat it. As far as how much goes, I always put out a can for the mother cat and one for the kittens (usually she had a litter of about 4). What the kittens didn't finish, the mother cat would, which is why I found it better to start that a little before the mother cat weaned them herself. That way if she did take the food from the kittens they would still get food from her. But if the kittens are already weaned I would suggest separating the mother cat and kittens at feeding time once they get used to the canned food to make sure they get their share. Just make sure you watch the mother's behavior closely because if she thinks you are trying to separate her from the kittens she may attempt to move them.
