Well since I have heard of this happening to someone there is no telling what may happen. He does sound ill but he may last a year maybe more maybe less I advise you to either talk to his doctor or a nurse of his. They will tell you everything that you need to know. It can't be determined from the information you have given. He sounds very ill - the best source of information regarding his health and prognosis would come from his doctor. Have you ever wondered why some people linger that should be deceased, and some, often very good people die young. God does not want to see anyone perish(go to hell), So he communicates wtih them on their deathbeds and maybe gets ahold of them, and then takes them. Think about it.
