Pulling baby teeth out does not usually cause a person any pain. Baby teeth have a very small root or no root and are usually painless to remove. If your baby teeth are causing you pain when you pull them out, you should probably check with a dentist to be sure that the teeth and gums are healthy.

I am an RN in an oral surgeons office. We do extractions on pregnant mothers with what we call local anethesia (where we numb the area by injection). Depending on the office you will usually need consent from your OB. This is definitely the safest way. In order to be sedated you would need to deliver the baby first.If the teeth have become infected and you are having problems, you need to get the teeth out as soon as you can. Infection can only lead to more serious problems that could be potentially more harmful to you and your baby
PULL OUT a baby's teeth..... never mind about 'too early'... that's abuse whenver you do it!A baby's 'milk teeth' will fall out when they are ready, and will be replaced by the child's permanent set. If the teeth come out, accidentally or deliberately, too early then the child will be toothless for longer.
Intervals & dilation determine how soon baby arrives.
