1) The snail would pass out in the upper atmosphere.
2) If it didn't pass out, it would freeze.
3) A snail doesn't live long enough to make the journey.
A snail in England won a snail race being clocked at .0033 mph...so I'd have to say maybe .0025 would be about the norm for a non-racing snail?
18 minutes? i think. =]
It depends on what you are doing with the cheese. For example, if you were studying the effects of different temperatures of a specific cheese, cheese would be the dependent variable. Or, if you were studying the number of mice attracted to different amounts of cheese, cheese would be the independent variable.
To move "on all fours" would be to crawl on your hands on knees.
A ruler and a calculator. Or a math text book.
It would if it could, but it can't.
Walk-although very slowly would be a better term. Crawl would imply it is on it's hands and knees or doesn't have legs like a snake or snail.
Well it would probably crawl back out and get back in the shell seeing as this would take a while i wouldn't really do it myself to find out.
The Mystery Snail will crawl out of The tank and bite you, so get some gloves or something so it does not get slime on you.
There are many ways, the most inhumane way is probably putting salt in a bowl then dropping the snail in it, (this is highly unrecommended as it is pure torture) the most humane way would be to either put beer in a big bowl then let the snail crawl in it (and drown) or simply putting the snail on the floor then dropping a brick on it from a great distance
In Klingon 'Racing Snail' would be translated as 'Snail Segh'.

I would use a stopwatch to measure the length of time, and then report the results to other people using units of seconds if a person did it, or minutes if a turtle did it, or hours if a snail did it.
Answer in my opinion 29 days. At the beginning of the 28th day the snail is 27 feet up. The snail crawls up 3 feet and is now at the top of the well but not out. At the beginning of the 29th day, the nail is 28 feet up. He now crawls up 3 feet and is out. This is some question about the interpretation of the problem. At the end of the 28th day, the snail is at top and would crawl out, I think.
a spoon because it could crush a snail
Water would move OUT of the snail and onto the salt.
