( upstream ) and sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
Bank 2 is the driver side of the engine , sensor 1 is before the catalytic converter
( upstream ) and sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter ( downstream )
The 2 sensors before the catalytic converter are used for air / fuel ratio for the engine
The 2 sensors after the catalytic converter are called catalyst monitors
