About 4 are reputed to have left the factory but there is no strong evidence to prove it,I had a 4 door that had the SS stuff including badges but it was all installed [?] either in Belgium at the factory or at Lendrum+Hartman dealers in London.Or maybe it was the real deal, unfortunately I sold it long ago and its dissapeared the only picture I had is lost too.A 61 wagon is rumoured to exist, was in ELondon but now maybe in Sweden.Still lookin`...
All of the paperwork that I receive from Chevrolet states that the "SS" package could be installed on any 1961 Impala except the stationwagon. However I do appreciate your answer. I'm not saying that a dealer could not have installed the "SS" package on a stationwagon, Belair, or even a Biscayne.

There were a total of 73,932 Chevy Impalas produced in 1967. Of those, 4,337 of them were four door models.
Between 5000-6500 is my best guess.
The 1978 two-door Chevrolet Impala model was a popular, but somewhat rare vehicle. 33,990 two-door models were produced, out of 290,744 total Impalas produced in 1978.

Chevrolet started the Impala line in 1958. Too many configurations to list all the engines and horse power.
There are 50 years between 1961 and 2011. You can work this out by subtracting 1961 from 2011.
