depend's on the light's.. 5-15 amp's..
It depends on the voltage and whether the lamps are actually 40 watts or 40 watt equivalent. Watts / volts = amps
i have a 2001 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 fuel injected vortex and my cigarette lighter keeps blowing out. i replaced it with 15 amps fuses but it keeps burn it out. i just want to no if that the right amps for this car
53000Amps
0.0001 amps will stop your heart if you are fully grounded.
There is a high current draw on the circuit and the switch is getting old. Change out the switch, see if you can find a 20 amp switch as the internal contacts are designed to take the higher amperage. Check how many lamps are in the circuit in watts, add them together and use the formula for amps. Amps = Watts/Volts (120).
four screws hold the clear cover on take them out then five screws hold the gauges in take them out pull the gauges out the the bulbs are in the back
it doesn't matter how many volts pass through your body, its the amps as little as 0.1 amps can kill a human
How many quarts of transmission fluid does a 2004 Chevy tahoe take
The power required to run a basic computer will be 1.35 amps for startup and .7 to .9 amps continuous. The power requirements to run an 17" monitor will be 3.5 amps startup and 1.5 amps continuous.
Just take the voltage and multiply it by the amps. That should give you a close approximation of the watts used. For instance, 117 volts at 4.5 amps = 5265 watts.
Pull out the instrument cluster and they twist lock into the back of it. Not hard to do if you will just take your time. You should be able to do this in about an hour or so.
To answer this question the voltage needs to be known.
