Comics like "Batman" aren't really "fun". They are really serious and entertaining, and I am glad that comics were invented. Many comics published by DC aren't fun, but Marvel's comics are usually just for fun comics. Series like "Iron Man", "Spider-Man" and "Deadpool" usually is joking alot. Many times (In the movies and TV shows) Batman has threatened to kill The Joker. He has never carried out his threats because it would violate his conscience. There are many comics where Joker does die and I believe there is an alternative comic called 'The nail' where Batman kills The Joker.
