There are too many variable, to really answer that question with any certainty, however, you muist be asking for a reason, so, I will try to give you a ball park, however, this is my disclaimer. 4 bolt main motors, truck, vs. car, pre smog, smog, ect. Too many variables. Either 10, or 16 main cap bolts, 5 flywheel bolts. Rod bolts, 2 per piston, so 16. 1 holds the oil pump in place, and I think 16 bolts hold the oil pan on. Timing cover has 10, maybe, and 4 at the fuel pump. Cam timing gear has 3, 1 down the center of the harmonic balancer, and 3 to hold the bottom pulley on. 4 for the water pump to block match-up, and another 4 to hold on the fan. 2, for the earlier alternator, and 3 more for the Power Steering. 13 head bolts, per side, and 4 more, per side for the valve covers. 16 nuts for the rocker arms, and 1 to hold down the distributer. 4 to bolt on the carburator, and 12, to seal up the intake manifold. 12 to bolt on the exhaust manifolds, or headders. Where are we now? About 175? I would say, then, on average, about 200......chuck
