not really, the difference in cams is more like a van versus a camaro. if you just want it to run, any cam will do, but if you want it to haul a$$, gotta go aftermarket... crane cams is good. there is a difference between them, though they interchange, if you put a cam from a "k" code 350 5.7 in an old carbureted 350 pre 1987 , the mechanical fuel pump will not function hence there is no fuel pump lobe on those cams. and you will have to use a electric fuel pump.

On the Tripletcam website you will find different travel cams such as beach cams, city cams or wildlife cams. The most interesting thing is that they have panoramas from Google and the exact location of what the online camera sees (this is not on any other site)
There are no torque specs on 350 Chevy engines. Set solid lifter cams with cam manufacturers backlash specifications, set hydraulic lifter cams with 0 backlash plus 1/4-3/4 turns preload. To my knowledge you don't torque valves, you adjust them.Each one must be done individually.
