Why did Ireland give England 6 counties?

Ireland did not give six counties to England. Before 1921, all of Ireland was part of the United Kingdom. When the Irish Free State was formed in 1921, the majority of the population in the six counties wanted to remain part of the United Kingdom. A minority of the population of the six counties wanted to join what is now the Republic of Ireland. The six counties became what is now known as Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland is not part of England, but along with England, Scotland and Wales, it is part of the United Kingdom. England and the United Kingdom are not the same thing so don't get it mixed up.

Is Belfast considered as the United Kingdom?

Yes, Ireland was partitioned in 1922, and has remained that way ever since. There are six out of the nine counties in Ulster (the Northern Province) that belong to the United Kingdom, and Belfast is included in those six counties.

What part of Ireland belongs to the british?

No. The six counties of Northern Ireland are a part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The rest of Ireland is a separate, sovereign country called The Republic of Ireland. Britain refers to England, Scotland and Wales, so no part of Ireland is part of Britain.

What political entity was created when Great Britain and Ireland were unified in 1801?

The parliaments of England and Scotland were merged in 1707 to form the United Kingdom. When Ireland was included in 1801, it became the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland until 1922 when the island of Ireland (except for six counties in the northeast of the island) became an independent country again.
