How long can you drive after buying a car without auto insurance in Georgia?
You cannot drive a vehicle without insurance for any time. This means you must purchase insurance before you put the vehicle on the road or you are immediately in violation of state law. You also cannot purchase a tag and registration in Georgia without having insurance. The state has a computerized system that keeps up with insurance and registration. Many police vehicles are now equipped with a system that works like radar except that it tells whether you have current insurance and whether or not your registration is current. I had a client parked at work whose insurance had cancelled two days earlier but she was ticketed at work for not having current insurance.

Do I have to buy extra car insurance if I rent from EZ car rental?
If you already have full coverage auto insurance, there is no need to purchase additional insurance for your rental car. The only event where you would need the insurance from EZ Car Rental, was if you were to get into an accident, they would cover the cost of the time lost for the rental. If you don't purchase their insurance and get into an accident, you will have to pay for the days they are out money for not being able to rent the car out.

Can you get insurance after your phone breaks?
No. If you have a pre-paid phone, you have to purchase the insurance when you purchase the phone. The cash register will show your purchases with a numbered sequence that you register online or through a phone call after you buy the phone. If it is a contract phone, you can take up to 30 days to purchase insurance, but if you add insurance after your purchase date, you must prove the phone is not damaged before you can buy the insurance.

A Consumer's Guide to Understanding New Jersey's Auto Insurance Requirements?
New Jersey's auto insurance laws feature unique provisions that give drivers much leeway in how they obtain auto insurance coverage. Many drivers take advantage of this freedom to choose an auto insurance policy that meets their needs. However, New Jersey drivers who refuse to carry auto insurance face stiff fines that can make life difficult. As a result, here is a brief consumer guide about New Jersey's auto insurance requirements that can help New Jersey drivers take full advantage of their ability to choose whatever auto insurance they wish to purchase. New Jersey's auto insurance laws feature no minimum coverage requirements. New Jersey's auto insurance laws require drivers to carry some sort of auto insurance coverage. However, New Jersey's auto insurance laws do not stipulate the type or the amount of coverage drivers must purchase to comply with these laws. These provisions were put into place in to give drivers the flexibility they need to purchase affordable auto insurance that suits their individual needs. As a result, New Jersey drivers can choose from any combination of auto insurance coverage policies they believe will provide them adequate coverage against the risks of driving in New Jersey. These policies can include casualty coverage, collision coverage, property damage coverage, bodily harm coverage and nearly any other type of auto insurance coverage that covers the risks associated with driving. Moreover, New Jersey drivers can also purchase as little as $0.01 of auto insurance coverage if they believe that is enough to cover their potential liabilities. However, auto insurance providers in New Jersey are required to provide Garden State drivers a list of potential auto insurance coverage options to ensure that drivers understand the risk of carrying very little insurance coverage. New Jersey also requires drivers to provide proof of auto insurance coverage on demand. New Jersey state auto insurance laws require drivers to carry verifiable proof of their auto insurance coverage. As a result, drivers must be able to provide proof of their auto insurance on demand during a routine traffic stop, during a routine inspection, or after an accident. The penalties for failing to comply with these requirements can be stiff. For example, first time offenders face fines of up to $250 and up to 15 days of community service. Habitual offenders face fines of up to $1,000 and one year of community service. However, drivers in New Jersey are given a 10 day grace period to provide proof of insurance coverage to avoid these penalties in most cases. How to choose the best car insurance company?
Buying car insurance can be a hassle because there are so many companies out there that claim to provide the best insurance. Almost every state requires drivers to have liability insurance at the minimum. Of course, there are tons of other types of car insurance for drivers to consider. When buying auto insurance, there are certain things you can do to get the best rates. First of all, not all car insurance companies are the same. While they all claim they have the best rates, its best to shop around and call them for actual rate quotes. If you settle for the first company you find, chances are high that you’ll be dissatisfied with it. It’s perfectly okay to tell one company that you’ve received a better quote from another. You can always negotiate with auto insurance companies, whether you’re buying insurance for the first time or are looking for a reduction in your rate. It’s also best to find a company that provides the most coverage for the price you’re looking for. Don’t get roped into buying coverage for things you’d rather not pay for. Therefore, be sure to compare prices for specific types of insurance rather than all-inclusive packages of auto insurance. You should never pay for something that you don’t want or need to have. Also, one of the most important factors to consider when choosing a car insurance company is customer service, which includes ease of filing a claim. If you get into an accident and need to file a claim for compensation or repairs, it doesn’t help you if it takes a month or longer to get service. Companies that respond to your needs within hours or a couple days are the best choices when it comes to auto insurance companies. In many cases, customer service and response time can be more important than the actual cost of your auto insurance. Basic auto insurance is a necessity and there’s no way around it. The consequences for driving without it are huge. Therefore, shopping around for the best insurance companies depends on both cost and the quickness with which they respond to claims. Shop around carefully.
