A couple of days either side of Full Moon the Moon looks almost full.
The answer to this question depends on how we measure a "day". If we think of a day as the amount of time it takes the moon to rotate 360oon its axis, then one lunar day is about 27.32 Earth days long. However, if we consider the perspective of an observer standing on the moon, then a day is the amount of time between two sunrises (or sunsets, or noons; from any point, around and back to the same point). In this case, a lunar day lasts about 29.5 Earth days. This is usually the definition that astronomers prefer.
there is no wind on the moon
"Gibbous". All of the moon is visible during a full moon. Only half of the moon is visible during a half moon because the other half is covered by the earth's shadow. A quarter moon occurs when only a quarter of the moon is visible, and the other three quarters are covered by the earth's shadow. When the moon is completely covered by the earth's shadow, it is called a new moon.
the sun is a middium sized star, made of gasses, very hot and has sunspots. earth is a planet, has life on it , air, and water. the moon is a sattle light, has extreme weather and it causes tides on earth.
Easter's date changes because it's based on Jewish Passover, which is based on a lunar calendar. Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox. Those things don't stay in sync, so the date of Easter moves around. If that wasn't hard enough, there are all sorts of questions about determining the full moon. For the full story, see the US Naval Observatory Web Site.
