90

How do you adjust timing in valve timing?

You have to set your camshaft at a position of firing at number piston ,that is if the camshaft gear does not have a visible timing marks and in relationship with the crankshaft position it has to be position number one piston at TDC

What are the Valve clearance specs for 2001 Honda Civic?

On most vehicles the valve clearance (lash) can be found on the hood decal. The spark plug gap can be found there as well. On the 2001 Honda Civic, the intake valves should be set within the tolerances of .007"-.009" and the exhaust valve clearance should be set within the tolerances of .009"-.011". First you set the engine to top dead center by rotating the crankshaft pulley so the white marker dot is lined up with the timing mark on the engine. Now look for the camshaft pulley where it has the word "up" written on it. The word "up" should be in the straight up position when checking the number 1 piston's valve clearances. Then rotate the crankshaft 180 degrees and the camshaft will turn 90 degrees. The "up" will be facing the 9 o'clock piston and you can then check the number 3 piston's valve clearances. Rotate the crankshaft another 180 degrees and the camshaft will turn 90 degrees again. You can now check the number 4 piston's valve clearances. Rotate the crankshaft one more time 180 degrees and the camshaft will turn 90 degrees again. You can now make the final adjustments on the number 2 piston's valve clearances. The piston sequence runs 1-2-3-4 from the driver side (where the belts are) toward the passenger side.

What direction should the arrow point on top of a piston?

in most cases it points to the camshaft

How 3 cylinder engine works?

pretty much like any engine. piston goes up, fuel explodes, piston goes down, etc. Every 240 degrees of rotation a spark ignites a fuel mix and makes it go roundy round.

What is the job of a crankshaft?

It turns the stroke movement of the piston(s) into a rotation.

Component of internal combustion engine?

There are many components but the most noteable are the block, head, crankcase, cylinder, piston, piston rod, crank shaft, camshaft, and flywheel.

Why the piston of gauge pressure rotating until its freely suspend?

The piston of a gauge pressure rotating until its freely suspend because the weight of the piston is balanced by the centrifugal force. The centrifugal force is created by the rotation of the piston and is equal to the weight of the piston.

Would a bad camshaft position sensor cause the car to burn oil?

no, you have bad piston rings

What are the basic components of four stroke petrol engine?

Well, most importantly you have the piston. This directly comes in contact with the fuel/air mixture and combustion shoots it down. The piston has a connecting rod which connects it to the crankshaft. These three parts transform vertical motion into circular motion. The piston slides inside a cylinder, and at the top is a spark plug which ignites the fuel. The crankshaft is connected to a timing chain; this travels up and spins the camshaft. The camshaft has cams on it (imagine that!) and these push valves in when they're needed. Intake and exhaust valves are pressed in when they need to be open, and then spring closed when they aren't needed. Yeah that's basically it. :)

How much degrees for piston settings?

100 g

Where is a camshaft position sensor on a 2002 Isuzu rodeo 3.2L?

it does not have one, after 2000 modes the camshaft position sensor is eliminated the these vehicles use the use the VRS system to determine where the No. 1 piston is. therefore they only required a Crankshaft sensor not a Camshaft sensor.
