seven species exist in the world. The hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata), green (Chelonia mydas), leatherback (Dermochelys coriacea), loggerhead (Caretta caretta), kemp's ridley (Lepidochelys kempii), olive ridley (Lepidochelys olivacea), and the flatback (Natator depressus).
There are seven types of sea turtles-
1.)the Olive Ridley/Kemp Ridley Sea Turtles-
smallest speicies of sea turtles, weiging around 85-90 pounds. They both have heart shaped, green gray shells. Olive Ridleys live ih the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian ocean and the Caribbeab sea. Kemp Ridleys live only in the eastern Atlantic Ocean.
2.)Hawksbill Sea Turtle-
Is the the second smallest sea turtle with a very pretty brown-gold shells w/ streaks of white, green, and red oval shell about 76cm long, weighing around 120 pounds. The hawksbill sea turtle lives in the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans.
