Komodo Dragon is a species its self of monitor lizards.
Well, it is technically not a Dragon, the name just says 'Dragon' in it because the Komodo Dragon is one of the larger reptiles on Earth. The Komodo dragon is the largest monitor lizard species, but is smaller than crocodiles and alligators, and many large snakes such as pythons and anacondas. Komodo "Dragons" are not really dragons at all. They're just hyperbolically-named lizards.
there are MANY differences between komodo dragons and real dragons. komodo dragon are ten feet in length. a dragon is about 40 feet. a komodo is 3 feet tall. dragons are 20.a komodo has no wings, spines, horns or spade. a dragons has all of that. theres much more but that some of the basics.
The komodo Dragon for many reasons. First of all, it has 2 lethal weapons, the first one is it's bacteria. The komodo Dragon has 50 strains its bacteria in its mouth. The second weapon the komodo Dragon has is its highly lethal killing venom. The komodo dragon would ambush the rhino before the fight begins and bite the rhino and even if the komodo dragon gets killed the rhino will die after a while because of all the bacteria and venom inside its blood stream.
The Komodo Dragon has one heart, which has three different chambers the left atrium, right atrium, and ventricle.
They live on many different continents. like asia
It is about 90-100 eggs in year.

The Komodo Dragon is a large reptile, adults can reach 2-3 meters. The species is indigenous to the islands of Komodo, Rinca, Flores and Gili Motang in Indonesia. Inhabiting these islands the species are isolated from any potential predators that may kill and feed upon them. That is not to say nothing eats the Komodo Dragon. A dead one may be have its flesh consumed by a bird of prey.Additional informationAdult Komodo dragons do not have any natural enemies, but they are cannibalistic and will raid unguarded Komodo dragon nests to eat the eggs and will eat hatchling and juvenile Komodos. One source estimates that 10% of the adult diet consists of juvenile Komodos. The hatchlings could be consumed by any predator, including their mother.
