I have a little over a year of fishkeeping expirence.
It will depend on the type of fish you are having. The larger and more aggressive the fish, the less you should put in. The smaller and more welcoming fish, the more you may put. About 65 typical sized and moody fish will fit in the tank (I've done the calculations).
The rule of thumb i this - 1 in. of fish per 1 gallon. So really, you shouldn't get past 5 1 in. fish. But I'm sure they'd be fine if you added some more. :) I would put some FEmale betta and some tetras. They are very colorful and beautiful.
You're never going to get a straight answer to this question! Because that depends on the type of fish you plan to keep. Some fish produce more waste than others. Now you can always go with the 1 inch of fish per gallon rule, but that's not always the best way to figure it out. For example in my 55 I have:
10 white clouds
15 harlequin rasboras
6 green corydoras
8 gold barbs
2 pairs of dwarf gouramis
and and assortment of live plants
Hope that helps.
depending on the species of fish is how many you can fit. the basic measurment is 1 gallon for every inch of the adult size. so you could have as many as 65 guppies or a few barbs and a shark fish. it all depends on what you prefer. goldfish are one galllon for every half inch.
It would depend on the kind and size o'fish you're talking about.
well i don't know the exact number of fish, but you should have about one gallon per inch of fish
around 53, but depends on the size of the fish.
2 or 3
Dpends on the size of the fish its one inch full grown for every gallon
The general rule for stocking a fish tank is 1 inch of fish per gallon of aquarium water.
normal rule for fish in a tank is: For every 1 inch of fish there is 1 gallon of water
A betta fish would be much more suited to a 1 gallon tank than a 'variety'. You shouldn't keep much more than one fish per gallon anyway.
id say 15 fish
depending on whether you plan to keep them till adult hood a 50 g tank will hold 4 adult angels
If the tank is large enough. For rearing young Oscars a 50 gallon tank is about right for 5 fish.
length and width for a 55 gallon fish tank
The only fish you can keep in a 5 gallon tank is one betta (Siamese fighting fish) on it's own as that is a very small tank.
You could probably keep a school of a dozen Exodon Paradoxus in a 40 gallon, as long as they are kept well fed, with a riverine environment, and no other species of fish in the tank. Be prepared for a lot of work, but some enjoyable feeding sessions.
7....But you should keep an good watch on them.
