i assume you are asking about a transmission? most aircraft do not have a "gear box" - the engine output goes either directly or more or less directly to the propellor - power/rpm is controlled with the throttle, mixture control, and for planes with a contstant speed propellor, the prop control - the prop control changes the angle of the propellor which controls its rpm at a contstant speed - the angle is contolled/changed with oil preasure so no gear box is required Helicopters are a little different in some ways and they can have 2 or 3 gear boxes. The older Bell Helicopters from the Bell Model 47 to the UH-1 Huey of Viet Nam period, had a large planetary gearbox. The later design used a turbo-jet engine which turned at a high RPM. The helicopter rotor blades turn at ~300 rpm so the job of the transmission gearbox is to reduce the rpm. The twin-engine helicpoters have a Combining Gearbox that brings the output shafts of the two engines and combines it into one shaft that feed power to the main transmission gearbox. The tail rotor is driven by a long shaft that requires a different speed. For the UH-1 and the current AH-1W gunship, the tail rotor drive shaft runs along the top of the tail boom to a 42-degree gearbox that turns the drive shaft 42-degrees to run to the gearbox on the tip of the Tail, which is referred to as the 90-degree gearbox. This gearbox has an out-put shaft that is 90-degrees to the input shaft and the tail rotor blades are mounted to it. Custermen It is a device which keeps track of the planes activity i.e. its engines, other controls etc. If a plane gets crashed it doesn't get damaged, it is the only part of the plane which resists even a crash & can be then used to know the reason for the crash, as it has all the ionformation stored int about the functionality of the plane. ishfaq
how many liters of oil automatic gear box laguna 2
No, an airplane does not have legs but the wheels and everything that holds up the rest of the plane is called the gear or landing gear.
4gears
The actual gear box is the area off gears.....and the gear box cover .....covers that area
There is nothing to stop you from flying a retractable gear airplane with the gear always down. If the landing gear is permanently fixed in the extended position, the FAA requires that the gear-retraction lever (or switch) be removed or placarded as "inoperative". Additionally, retractable-gear aircraft have a maximum speed permissible with gear extended (VLE) obviously, the aircraft would be permanently limited to this speed.
Depending on the vehicle, many standard transmissions use ATF, not gear oil.
Manual gear box 2 litre Automatic gear box are sealed unit
The gear box increaces the rotational speed from about 30-60. The gear box is very costly and heavy.
need to replace the wheel gear box on a 2002 ford excursio.
Go to a game that allows the gear type that matches the gear that you have. At the bottom of the screen in the game it will have a box with a picture of your gear in it. Click the box or click the number in the box to use that gear item!
Need more info, manual steering gear box, power steering gear box, 3 speed standard transmission box, or 4 speed transmission box? The truck has a 3 speed manual transmission and power steering gear box thanks The steering gear box will interchange.
Yes, there is a steering gear that can be called a gear box.Yes, there is a steering gear that can be called a gear box.
