The jvc 42 LT42PM30 lcd tv has 60 hertz.
Have been searching for this too, as JVC does not list the lt42pm30 on their website. If you download the owner's manual from JVC's website for the lt42p300, it lists the lt42pm30 on the cover page along with the lt32p300 (32"). The specs page at the end shows identical specs for both 42" tvs. The difference might be that the lt42pm30 is sold at warehouse stores and the lt42p300 at conventional retailers.
A JVC plasma is a brand of television and a plasma television does not use liquid crystal displays (which is and LCD television). Plasma televisions are thinner and provide crisper images.

Plug the audio system into the AUDIO OUTPUT jacks on the LCD. Go into the menu and change the signal to the jacks to FIXED if you can.
The higher the better if for use in USA.
A LCD monitor runs at a lower meg hertz and might be as bright, you can always go with a high MAC LCD monitor that a lot of professional graphic designers use.
The action depends on the refresh rate, which the hertz is how many times per second it refreshes. Plasma can handle 600hz and the fastest LED TV can handle 1240hz. Therefore, LED is the winner.
