How many hours are in the repair manual for the replacement of a rear main oil seal in a 2000 Blazer 4X4. I understand the trans will have to come out to replace it. Use a U seal or an O seal?

That's true, But after you get the transmission and fly-wheel out you will see a solid round seal that's goe's over the back of the crankshaft. just pop it out with a screew driver and drive the new one in it's place. That's it.
