It was called the 100 days. Between March 9 and June 16 1933 Congress passed 15 major laws to counteract the Great Depression.These laws would later be called the First New Deal. Today Presidents are still judged by what they can do in their first 100 days. No one has really come close to passing as many reforms as FDR did in his first 100 days
