I have a 96 Ford Contour.. they all seem to have emission issues dont they? On mine, I just replaced the 2 it has. They are called upstream and downstream o2 sensors. I liked the prices from rockauto.com where they were shipped from.
My 1995 Ford Explorer with 4.0 L OHV has 2 oxygen sensors (Helpfull)
There are 4 oxygen sensors on the 2001 ford f150 v6.
There are 2 oxygen sensors on a 2004 Ford Taurus. The oxygen sensors check for the amount of going into the converter.?æ
It has ( one oxygen sensor ) on the 1991 and 1992 Ford Explorers
there are 4 o2 sensors
That Vehicle has 2 oxygen sensors.
On a 1995 Ford Explorer : There are ( 2 ) oxygen sensors ( I believe there is one sensor in the outlet of each exhaust manifold )
There are 2 oxygen sensors.
Only two, upstream and downstream.
The Ford Focus Wagon has two. One before the catalytic converter (called the upstream) and one after (downstream) Most cars have 2 or more oxygen sensors. Most cars have 2 or more oxygen sensors.
According to my Haynes Explorer Repair Manual : A 1997 Ford Explorer , 5.0 liter V8 engine has ( a total of 4 oxygen sensors )
two one on each manifold
You must mean Oxygen sensors. There are 2 upsteam (O2 sensors) and there are 2 downstream (catalyst moniters).
That would depend on what year of Ford Explorer and which engine you have ( my 1995 Ford Explorer with the 4.0 liter OHV , V6 engine has ( 2 oxygen sensors )
The 1992 Ford Taurus has two oxygen (O2) sensors. Both O2 sensors are located upstream of the catalytic converter with one on each exhaust bank.
My Chilton repair manual - engine wiring schematic shows ( 2 ) heated oxygen sensors for the 1993 Ford Explorer
2 one in front of the converter and one after
two oxygen sensors for air / fuel ratio (and another two oxygen sensors that are called catalyst monitors installed downstream )
There are 2 Oxygen sensors. One is on top of the catalytic converter called the upstream and the other is at the bottom of the catalytic converter called the downstream.
