Well, considering that the majority of bronies are online people, it can be hard to say. There was a census though on bronies that looked at this. Basically what they did was sent a question stateing "How strongly would you identify yourself as a brony" to a random 1,028 internet users. It was rated on a 1-5 scale (5 being strongest). They only judged 4s & 5s, and actually together was only 5.4%. However, they took that as meaning that 4.0-6.8% of the internet users (of US) were strongly a brony, which comes out to 7-12.4 million people. So like fluttershy would say, "yay."

There are currently no reliable statistics for the worldwide population of Bronies - although there probably will be in the coming years. Anti bronies is just a term created by bronies of those who are apposed to bronies, and will usually do negative attacks or things towards a brony. By definition, to be anti anything, you must first be of it, and turn against it. True bronies like that exist, but despite the technical terms, in society an anti brony is just basically any brony hater.

In addition, some bronies have demonstrated rather obnoxious behavior, discussing My Little Pony excessively, much to the annoyance of those who dislike it. Some people, again, have, have mistakenly generalized this behavior to bronies as a whole.
