About 700 people a day die for texting while driving, this can be really dangerous but people who do it don't care about and then they end up losing their lives.
over 1,000 people
Yes there are laws regarding texting while driving in many states.
about 7000
more than 100...
1 in 62,000 Americans die from Texting and driving, that is nearly 140 people from New York City each year
178,000 babies die each year from texting and driving.
All the ones that didn't die. ;)That's not really something you can tell because not everyone will admit to texting and driving. If you take the estimated amount of people that texted while driving in 2008, see how many deaths there were from texting while driving, put that as a percent, then subtract that percent from 100%, you'll get the percent of the people that survived and an approximate number.According to a AAA survey, 14% of the people surveyed admitted that they have read or sent a text message while driving. Obviously, none of those surveyed were dead, so 14% are the percent of living people that admitted to texting.5,000 teens died in 2008 while texting, which is probably the majority of the people who text and drive.
well, 7,000 people die each year in the USA each year from texting while driving, soimguessing about half. Just a guess, sorry ifimmistaken.
Driving and texting is very dangerous. Many lives have been lost and ruined due to texting and driving. California has banned texting while driving and whether considered a moving violation or not, jail time and a large fee, are associated with this crime.
